Welcome to the 2024 Data Visualization Challenge!
What’s the challenge? Come up with a cool scientific illustration, graphic/infographic, video, sculpture, etc. that describes your project, an aspect of your project, your system of interest, etc. As long as it’s related to the overall Next Gen Effort, it will count.
Who can participate? anyone who has worked on a Next Gen project.
Do you have to do this? No! This is totally optional, but there are prizes! (Also, everyone should have at least one graphic for their thesis, dissertation, etc. that’s cool enough to share, so please submit).
There are prizes? Yes!
Are they good prizes? Last year you gave us stickers. Are the prizes better than stickers? Yes! We’re already working with several people to come up with actual cool prizes.
What’s the deadline? July 31st, 2024
Will we get a chance to see the submissions? Yes! The August webinar will be dedicated to showcasing and discussing the submissions.
Who are the judges? Todd Swannack and Kyle Mckay, plus two special guest judges
Are you going to be annoying and remind us all the time? Oh my, absolutely.
